SHE OWNS IT - How did all start?

The founders of Mums@Work & Expat Fairs were lamenting about the business conferences & events they often attended. Although meant for entrepreneurs, these events were usually very male-centric. The focus of such events were often profit-driven and focused on "talking shop".

 

The truth is, women-entrepreneurs often take into account their roles of wife, daughter and mother when making big decisions. As business owners, they make decisions that encompass their life choices.

 

And so, Sher-li & Betty agreed that they wanted a business conference and trade fair specially for women. They wanted an event that allowed a female business owner to embrace who she is, in all aspects of her life. They wanted an event where a female boss can say "I am proud to run a business and I am also a wife, daughter and mother."

 

"She Owns It" is all about helping a woman own her life. It is not about ruling the world, but ruling her own world. To LIVE it, To LOVE it, To RUN it....and To OWN It!
